Sparx’12 is a National Level Student’s Technical Symposium conducted on 2nd February, 2012 by the Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SEEE) of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Adhiparasakthi Engineering College which was established in the year 1993.
The B.E.-EEE Program was duly approved by the AICTE and Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to ANNA University-Chennai, TamilNadu. The department is accredited twice by NBA for 3 years (2004-first accreditation, 2008-second accreditation) . The PG course in M.E-Power Electronics and Drives was started in the year 2009-2010. From 2010-2011 onwards the department as a Centre of Excellence in R&D, in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The Department is ISO9001 certified and also accredited by the International body for ISO14000 by Dubai Accreditation Certification (DAC).
